PADI Tec Trimix Diver

“Beyond the Limits of Depth.”

If you want to dive beyond 40 meters, where the risks of nitrogen narcosis and oxygen toxicity coexist, and still remain calm, clear-headed, and in control, Trimix diving is no longer optional—it’s essential.

The PADI Tec Trimix Diver Course trains you to plan and execute decompression dives to depths of up to 90 meters using Trimix breathing gases containing helium.
This course enables you to maintain mental clarity at depth, reduce physical strain, and extend safe bottom time in extreme environments.

✅ Dive deeper, stay longer, think clearer.
✅ A core certification for advanced technical divers.
✅ Master multiple Trimix blends and advanced equipment configurations.
✅ A required step toward becoming a Tec Trimix Instructor.

Who Is This Course For?

This course is designed for divers who hold a Tec 50 or Tec 50 Trimix certification.

It is ideal for technical divers seeking stable and efficient performance at extreme depths.

The course is suited for those aiming to enter exploration diving, scientific research, or specialized environments such as wreck and cave diving.

It is also for divers who want to gain complete confidence in Trimix equipment and multi-gas technical diving.

Course Duration

The course is conducted over six training days.

Training includes theory sessions, confined-water practice, and open-water technical dives.

Dives may reach depths of 75 to 90 meters, depending on conditions and progression.

What Will You Learn?

You will learn how to configure and analyze Trimix blends with varying helium ratios.

The course covers planning and executing multi-stage decompression dives using three or more breathing gases.

You will study the physiology of helium, CNS and OTU exposure limits, and methods for mitigating nitrogen narcosis.

Training emphasizes risk management, extended-depth exposure control, and advanced emergency response protocols.

You will also master the use of advanced dive computers and robust backup decompression planning strategies.

What Do You Need to Bring?

A full technical configuration is required, including a backplate and wing system, twin cylinders or CCR, and stage cylinders.

Essential equipment includes a Trimix analyzer, dive computer, backup gauges, SMB, and reel.

Advance registration is required for the use of helium and oxygen gas blends.

You must bring your personal equipment, swimsuit, medical clearance, and logbook.

Some equipment may be rented, but certain technical items must be personally owned.

What Can You Do After Completion?

After completing the course, you will be qualified to independently conduct Trimix decompression dives to depths of up to 90 meters.

You may safely participate in deep exploration, research, and professional-level technical diving across a wide range of environments.

This certification marks your transition into elite deep technical diving, where precision, discipline, and mastery define every dive.
