
PADI ReActivate (Review Dive)
The PADI ReActivate Program is designed for certified divers who haven’t been diving for a while or who want to refresh their knowledge and skills before getting back in the water.
Through theory review and confined-water training, you’ll rebuild confidence and safety awareness while learning updated knowledge and the latest diving procedures.
Upon completion, a ReActivated date is added to your digital certification card, proving your current diving readiness.
Who can enroll in this course?
Certified divers holding PADI Open Water Diver or higher
Divers who haven’t dived in a long time and want to refresh their skills and comfort underwater
Divers preparing for travel or fun diving who want a skills check and review
Divers certified by other training agencies are also welcome
How long does it take?
Typically half a day to one full day
eLearning theory review
One confined-water session (pool or shallow open water)
What will you learn?
Review of core diving theory
(gas laws, safety procedures, equipment setup, and more)
Practice of essential underwater skills
(mask clearing, buoyancy control, regulator recovery, etc.)
Familiarization with updated diving equipment and safety checks
Review of emergency procedures and underwater communication
Regain confidence to return immediately to real diving situations
What do you need to prepare?
A valid PADI (or other agency) diving certification
Swimsuit, personal toiletries, reef-safe sunscreen
Diving equipment (rental available)
eLearning can be completed online in advance after registration
What Can You Do After Completion?
Your digital certification card will display a “ReActivated” status, confirming your up-to-date skills
Safely participate in fun dives, boat dives, and other recreational dives
Smooth progression to Advanced Open Water and Specialty Diver courses
