PADI Tec Trimix 65
The PADI Tec Trimix 65 Course is an advanced technical diving program focused on the professional use of Trimix breathing gases to conduct decompression dives to depths of up to 65 meters.
By combining oxygen, nitrogen, and helium, divers learn to maintain clear thinking, control, and safety even at extreme depths.
Who Is This Course For?
This course is designed for divers who hold a Tec 50 or Tec 50 Trimix certification.
Participants must be healthy adults aged 18 or older with a minimum of 100 logged dives, with at least 20 Trimix dives strongly recommended.
Applicants should already have full experience with complete technical diving equipment configurations.
Course Duration
The course is conducted over six training days.
Training includes theory sessions, confined-water practice, and open-water technical dives.
Hands-on training covers a wide range of Trimix blend ratios and advanced decompression planning exercises.
What Will You Learn?
You will gain an in-depth understanding of Trimix gases, including helium behavior, gas analysis, and dive planning strategies.
The course develops your ability to safely perform multi-stage decompression dives to depths of up to 65 meters.
You will master advanced decompression procedures, using multiple decompression gases and structured ascent strategies.
Training also focuses on problem-solving techniques for complex deep-diving scenarios.
Strong emphasis is placed on accident prevention, team-based diving, and developing leadership skills for deep technical dives.
What Do You Need to Bring?
A full deep-technical diving configuration is required, including twin cylinders, a minimum of two decompression cylinders, and Trimix-specific regulators.
Essential equipment includes a Trimix analyzer, dive computer, backup gauges, surface marker buoy (SMB), and an underwater slate.
You must bring your Tec 50 or Trimix certification, logbook, and medical clearance.
Swimsuit and reef-safe sunscreen are also required.
Some equipment is available for rental, but certain technical items must be personally owned.
What Can You Do After Completion?
After completing the course, you will be qualified to conduct Trimix decompression dives to depths of up to 65 meters.
You will be able to safely plan and execute complex technical dive missions across a wide range of depths and environments.
Graduates are eligible to progress to PADI CCR (Closed Circuit Rebreather) training, including Tec CCR programs.
This course defines the transition into elite deep technical diving, where precision, discipline, and mastery are essential for safe exploration at extreme depths.
